The purpose of these Terms is to define the basic matters concerning the conditions and procedures for the use of internet services (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by Smart Composite Deck Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Site").
① These Terms take effect by being announced to users through the service screen or by other means.
② The Site may modify the contents of these Terms, and the modified Terms take effect by being announced or notified in the same manner as set forth in paragraph 1.
The definitions of the terms used in these Terms are as follows.
① Member: An individual or organization that enters into a service use agreement with the Site or is assigned a user ID.
② Applicant: An individual or organization applying for membership.
③ ID: A combination of letters and numbers designated by the member and approved by the Site for identification and service use.
④ Password: A combination of letters and numbers set by the member to confirm their identity as the one assigned the ID and to protect their privacy.
⑤ Termination: Cancellation of the service use agreement by the Site or the member.
① Clicking the "Agree" button at the bottom of the Terms is considered agreement to these Terms.
② The service use agreement is established when the Site approves the application after the applicant agrees to the Terms and applies for service use.
① To use the Service, the applicant must fill out and submit the user information required in the prescribed membership application form of the Site.
② All user information provided in the membership application form is considered to be accurate data. Users who do not provide their real name or actual information cannot receive legal protection and may be subject to service restrictions.
① The Site approves service use applications except in cases falling under paragraphs 2 and 3.
② The Site may defer acceptance until the reason for limitation is resolved in the following cases:
A. When there is insufficient capacity in service-related facilities
B. When there are technical difficulties
C. When otherwise deemed necessary by the Site
③ The Site may reject the application in the following cases:
A. When the applicant uses another person’s (or the Site’s) name
B. When false information is entered in the user information
C. When the application is made with the intent to disrupt public order or morals
D. When the application fails to meet other requirements prescribed by the Site
If a member’s information entered at the time of application for use changes, the member must update it online. The member is solely responsible for any issues that arise due to failure to make such changes.
① The Site provides the following services to members:
A. Newsletters regarding new services and domain information
B. Automatic input of personal information when registering additional domains
C. Various supplementary services for domain registration and management
② The Site shall not disclose, reveal, or distribute the member’s personal information obtained in connection with providing the service to third parties without the member’s consent, nor use it for commercial purposes unrelated to service operations. However, exceptions apply in the following cases:
A. When requested by a government agency under laws such as the Framework Act on Telecommunications
B. When required for a criminal investigation or requested by the Information and Communication Ethics Committee
C. When otherwise required through procedures prescribed by related laws and regulations
③ The Site is obligated to provide continuous and stable services in accordance with these Terms.
① Members shall not engage in the following actions when using the service:
A. Fraudulent use of another member’s ID
B. Reproducing or altering information obtained through the service, or using it for publication, broadcasting, or providing it to others without the prior consent of the Site
C. Infringing the copyright or other rights of the Site or others
D. Distributing content, text, graphics, etc., that violates public order or morals
E. Engaging in actions objectively judged to be related to crimes
F. Any other act in violation of related laws
② Members shall comply with the relevant laws, the provisions of these Terms, the service use guidelines, and any usage precautions.
③ Members shall also comply with service-specific usage restrictions posted in the service announcements or otherwise separately notified by the Site.
① All responsibility for managing the member's ID and password lies with the member. The member is entirely responsible for any consequences arising from negligence or unauthorized use of the assigned ID and password.
② If a member’s ID is used fraudulently or if any other security breach occurs, the member must immediately notify the Site.
① The Site may restrict or suspend all or part of the service in the event of war, incident, natural disaster, or any national emergency equivalent thereto, or if a common telecommunications carrier under the Telecommunications Business Act ceases to provide telecommunications services, or in other cases of force majeure.
② When restricting or suspending the service as set forth in paragraph 1, the Site shall promptly inform the members of the reason and duration of the restriction or suspension.
If a member wishes to change customer information such as address or password, they may do so through the member information modification service on the website.
A member may terminate the service use contract. In such cases, the member must apply for termination directly through the service, by phone, or online. The Site will restrict the member's service usage from the day the termination request is received.
If the Site wishes to terminate the contract due to any of the following reasons, it must notify the member at least seven days in advance and provide an opportunity for explanation:
① When the member violates the usage restriction rules or fails to resolve the reason for restriction during the restriction period
② When the Information and Communication Ethics Committee requests termination
③ When the member fails to respond without justifiable reason to requests for explanation
④ When the contract was entered into using another person’s name or through false information or forged documents
The Site may restrict re-registration of users whose contract was terminated under the above clauses for a separately designated period.
① The Site is not responsible if a member fails to obtain the expected benefits from the service or suffers damages from selecting or using service data.
② The Site is not liable for any service disruptions or data loss caused by the member’s fault or the intentional acts of a third party.
③ The Site bears no responsibility for the content of materials posted or transmitted by members.
④ In the case of domains with trademark rights, any related damages or compensation are the sole responsibility of the purchasing member. The Site holds no liability in such matters.
If a dispute arises between the Site and a member in relation to the service, the court having jurisdiction over the Site’s headquarters shall be the competent court.
(Effective Date) These Terms shall be effective as of November 2015.
